red

You never understand the enormity of a situation until it hits close.Blasts used to be something which took place in bigger cities to important people. It used to be instances when you offer condolences and forget about it.I personally used to feel bad about it for a few minutes and then a movie used to release on the subject and then all's forgotten.
Since 26/11 it has hit close, quite close.it seems like yesterday I visited the famed Oberoi in Mumbai, the Tiffin restaurant. Met with the staff most of them my brother's friends.Had a free snack. and the next time i see the restaurant is when it is being gutted with bullets. One of the most beautiful sites of Mumbai was echoing with bullet shots, rocket launchers and what not.A boulevard of dreams lay broken in front of our eyes.Yes it had hit close.
And now a different city but as beloved as before. The place also rang a familiar bell. This time it was a friend's loss. A very dear school friend of mine lost his friend from college. All students like us is what Pune famous for. an exuberant bunch of people with dreams of a greater India on their mind. Its a dream lost for the nation.
yes it has hit close once again.day by day it gets closer.i see red in my eyes.of blood, of hatred of a determination to not let the dreams of a nation to come to a stand still.
RIP Rajeev agarwal

Anindyee dhar
Shilpa goenka
and the countless people who had a dream undone and a dream we all promise to fulfill.

awakening

I welcome myself back to blogging.don't know why i stopped it.maybe it was because i was too afraid to express myself at one point of time.what if the skeletons in the cupboard come tumbling out? never realized that the skeletons are there because we are meant to face them.the moment you turn around and say 'BOO!' they are all gone.scampering back to dusty cobwebby places.
so here i am back again and standing on my own two feet.its a "people's" world after all.and i am here to get my share of it till the sun shines!!
